    2. Storage suggestions

    4. Guide to removing the patch

    5. Installation Guide

    Ensure the vent and housing temperature is above 10 °C

    Make sure the mounting surface of the enclosure is smooth, clean and free of oil, particles or other contaminants. No jagged or sharp edges that could damage the waterproof breathable product

    The housing mounting surface can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol

    Before installing waterproof and breathable products, ensure that the housing installation surface is dry

    A hole of at least 1 mm is usually recommended

    Larger diameter vents may require multiple 1 mm holes (Figure 3)*

    6. Positioning

    Pure membrane type waterproof and breathable products can be installed on the inner or outer surface of the shell

    Series products with a support layer can only be installed on the inner surface of the housing, with the side with the breathable membrane facing the outside (liquid)

    Place the product along a flat vertical surface without water or other dirt accumulating on the surface.

    You can mark or demarcate the “target area” on the shell where waterproof and breathable products are required to improve the accuracy of placing waterproof and breathable products.

    Note:For corrosive environments, a raised target zone around the vent installation location may help prevent damage to the vent edges.
    7. Pressing – suitable for semi-automatic systems

    For excellent press head design and proper application pressure, follow these general recommendations:

    The press head should be made of soft rubber (hardness 20 – 40 Shore A) with a uniform thickness and a thickness of at least 5.0 mm
